Jessica Drenk
(USA, b. 1980)

美國亞利桑那大學藝術碩士,主修3D藝術創作,透過創作傳遞物質的可塑性,延伸自然與人造物間循環應用的關係。展出經歷遍及全美,包含艾佛哈頓博物館、亞伯科基博物館、圖森美術館等,作品獲耶魯大學美術館、世界百大藏家Sherry Malin與Joel Malin、Nike執行長Mark Parker、富達投資、和麥卡倫酒廠等機構與私人藏家收藏。

私人收藏


Drenk的創作理念源於對大自然的崇敬,以及物質形變的可能,在她的作品中常見有機的形體、花紋或質地,或是經人工再造的創作媒材如書冊或PVC水管等,也會歸根於大自然的型態。此次展出作品《Circulation》透過裁成條狀的書頁合成樹幹切面,表達生命循環和自然與人造間的連結;作品《Implement63》將數千的鉛筆黏合,再經磨砂處理,褪去外部人為加工的色彩與包裝,留下天然的色澤質感,呈現內外兩種不同型式的對照。
